I can’t promise you we’re going to be wealthy or famous.  I can’t promise you we’re going to live in the suburbs with two healthy children and a house that smells like Yankee Candle. I can’t promise you that you’re never going to get annoyed by me or that I’m never going to feel like punching you straight in the face. I can’t promise continual happiness and I certainly cannot, and will not, promise to fill the void in your life that only the Savior of both of our souls is entitled to fill. But this I can promise: I will never leave you. Ever. Not when it’s raining. Not when the Earth is crumbling out from underneath your feet. Not when you accidently hit our new puppy with your car. Not when you lose your job. Not when you need your space or when you simply need to be held. I will never leave you. I’ve loved you my whole life; once God brings us together, rest assured, without a single doubt in your mind, that I will never leave you.
