It has been a long few years, but I have finally realized that you are “the one”. A long time ago, I planned to marry you, but then we fell apart. We broke each other’s hearts, because we were too immature to understand how to handle our problems . After the pain healed a little, I fell in love with someone else, and I am sorry for that. But that didn’t last long, because I knew all along that it has to be you, or it has to be no one.
None of the people, situations or choices that have kept me from you have been worth not having you in my life, and I am done being apart. I love you.
And I know things are complicated, but I am going to fight for you; I will work for you, pursue you, and show you you that unconditional love that I learned from Jesus. And no matter how long it takes or how hard it is, in the end, we will have our happily ever after.
